Essex County Sheriff’s Department Youth Leadership Academy

The Youth Leadership Academy (YLA) is a free summer program for at-risk youth ages 8 to 14 in Essex County, Massachusetts. It aims to build positive leadership skills through fun and educational activities like team-building games, CPR training, internet safety, bullying prevention, and awareness about drugs and alcohol.
Essex County Outreach is grateful to be a part of the latter education and awareness piece.
