Merrimack Valley Prevention and Substance Abuse and Essex County Outreach recognize National Recovery Week with “Recovery Celebration with Brandon Novak,” on September 30 from 9am to 12pm at Haverhill High School. According to recent data published by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Essex County has seen a 5.2% decline in fatal overdoses between 2021 and 2022. See the link for the report here.
